Greetings! Martie and I trust that all is well. By that I mean that you are walking in the power of God’s Spirit in the midst of whatever is presently happening in your life. One lesson that He has taught us is that He is the God who is there. And He is willing and able to give us the strength to press on no matter how difficult the circumstance. As many of you know, because you have been here, the ministry we are involved in is very demanding. To the outsider it looks like chaos, but it’s not. It’s “controlled” chaos :o) That being said, we are running 7 days a week about 12 to 14 hours per day. Now don’t misunderstand, we are not complaining about our calling. We just want everyone who reads this to have an understanding of the pace we are running. It is physically, emotionally, and spiritually demanding. But, in the midst of all of that, God is sufficient to see us through. He never calls us to something we can do by ourselves. If it’s God, it requires faith. Let me say that again … if it’s God, it requires faith! My point, don’t shy away from a task because you don’t see how it is humanly possible to do. Instead, shy away from a task that is humanly possible. Radical thinking? I don’t think so. I think it is biblical thinking. We have never been more convinced that we are right where God wants us to be. “ You may or may not be called to the mission field, but each Christian is called to the delightful adventure of knowing and doing the will of God. This is the thrill of the Christian life - to experience God at the center of all you do, think, and say. He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." Jim Elliot. Is that where you want to be? A friend of ours encouraged us to withdraw from the fray now and again to be refreshed in our spirit. To draw close to God. That was and is such good advice. We must remind ourselves of who our “source” is, our Father in heaven. Go to our closet and fellowship with our Lord. Martie and I went to Ozark, AL yesterday to pick up another 16 foot utility trailer. We will use that trailer to haul building materials and pods. The church building is starting to come together. The support beams are in place, the temporary steeple is on, and the second floor is being restored, board by board, switch box by switch box. We continue to work in homes. We are hanging sheetrock with more regularity and are still mudding out homes. Pod production is going well. We built 27 in two days. We have delivered 50 so far. Two people have accepted Christ as a result of the Pod delivery teams sharing Christ with them. The pods are providing a way to reach people. Our work will be incomplete if we are not sharing the gospel with people as we serve them. That's all for now. Be Blessed.
