Pathfinder Mission incorporated in May of 2007. In August 2007 we
received our designation as a 501(c)3 from the IRS. The volunteers
that serve through this ministry come from all points within the U.S.
As such we felt that the board of directors should reflect that diversity. Lisa Shaw,
President
Lisa is President of Laguna
Coast Associates Inc., a medical label company. She has been a member of
Saddleback Church for 22 years. She hosts a small group in her home and
serves in Children's Ministry. Lisa is married and has an adult
daughter.
Donna Conte, Treasurer
Donna is a certified public accountant (CPA). She is a graduate of the
University of Northern Alabama with a degree in accounting. She has worked
for Jackson & Thornton, an accounting firm in Montgomery, Al for the past
seven years. She is the mother of three.
Lloyd Williams, Director
Lloyd hails form Pike Road, AL. Lloyd has been an ordained deacon
in Baptist churches for over 47 years. He has participated in over
13 foreign mission trips. A 1955 graduate of Auburn University
with a degree in Building Construction. Lloyd has 45 years
experience in commercial, industrial, and government construction.
Prior to his retirement he was president and part owner of a successful
construction company. Lloyd is married and has adult children.
Sherry Buresh, Director
Sherry is the Director of the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) Disaster
Relief Program. She is a member the Kentucky VOAD, was appointed to
the Kentucky Community Crisis Response Board by the governor of Kentucky,
Chair of the Eastern Kentucky Long Term Recovery Committee (LTRC), and a
member on several other Disaster Response and preparedness committees at the
local and national level. She has multiple national level certifications
associated with Disaster Relief. Sherry is married.
Rev George Beardsley,
Director
George Beardsley has been married to his wife Cassie
for more than 20 years and has three daughters. George graduated from BIOLA University
with a Business Degree and then graduated from The International School of
Theology with a Masters of Christian Ministry. George is currently a
pastor at High Desert Church where he has served for the past 21 years.
George has owned an electrical contracting firm, a real estate firm and has
served as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Hesperia.
Rev Bill Mitchell, Director
Bill was the senior pastor of Belmont Baptist Church in
Tampa, FL for 9 years. Since 1993 he has been the Assistant
Pastor of Prayer, Missions and Evangelism at First Baptist Church, Orlando.
Bill is married and has three children.
Lt Col (USAF) John Vaughn, Director
John has served as an active duty Air Force Officer
since 1991. He is rated in multiple aircraft and both pilot and
instructor pilot in the C-141 and C-17. He has served in many lay leadership positions in local
churches. John is married and has four children.
